Hi, I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) committed to providing a compassionate and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and supported. I work with adults (18+) experiencing low mood, anxiety, depression, stress, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma-related symptoms such as motor vehicle accident–related trauma, ADHD, panic attacks, and major life transitions. I offer therapy sessions in both English and Turkish.
My approach combines a relational, humanistic foundation with practical, evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT interventions and more. Therapy may include skills such as;
paced breathing
mindfulness and grounding
behavioural activation
exposure and avoidance reduction
cognitive pattern work
problem-solving
emotion regulation strategies and more.
My journey to becoming a therapist stems from my early work with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I saw the profound impact therapy had on their emotional and social growth, which inspired me to help others navigate their challenges. My own life transitions highlighted the value of emotional support, deepening my commitment to guiding others. This passion, combined with my interest in human behavior, led me to pursue a career in therapy to make a positive difference.
With extensive experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds, I provide culturally supportive, individualized therapy sessions that honor your unique values and experiences. Sessions are flexible and collaborative, allowing you to guide the focus while I provide guidance and support where it’s most helpful.
I don’t just sit back and say things like “I understand” or “How does that make you feel?” I show up honestly, challenge you when it matters, share moments of humour when they arise, and we work together toward meaningful change.

Quick Facts About Me
I’m a judoka. Judo taught me how to stay grounded under pressure, adapt when things don’t go as planned, and respect the power of balance, skills that show up in the therapy room, minus the throwing!
I’m a former professional swimmer. Years of staring at a black line at the bottom of a pool built discipline, patience, and the understanding that steady, consistent effort creates real change, something I often remind clients (and myself).
I’ve been involved with the Trent Chess Club as an executive member. Chess strengthened my appreciation for strategy, perspective, and thoughtful decision-making. Though in therapy, we’re not trying to “win,” just to understand the board better!
I’ve volunteered with the Alzheimer Society, which deepened my compassion and reinforced how powerful presence, patience, and human connection truly are.
